What does the beginner wheel throwing short course include? Discover the magic of wheel-throwing and follow a clear, step-by-step path across four lessons. You’ll learn to shape clay from scratch and create your first handmade bowls and cups.

We’ll teach you how to centre the clay, pull a cylinder, and trim your pieces in the second stage of making. You’ll understand how to move around the wheel, use tools safely, and work independently in our ceramic co-working space, so you can keep practising after the course.

This short course is the ideal starting point to build solid foundations and begin developing your own projects. It’s also the required step to access our co-working studio.

Course Schedule

Classes run every two weeks: two Tuesday evenings from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and two Saturday afternoons from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM.

Cancellation policy: classes can be refunded of 50% only if cancelled more than 30 days before the event. In this case you need to contact us to get a refund. Less than 30 days before the classes you can only reschedule them.
