Wheel Throwing and Decoration + Trimming Class: choose this class for a complete, engaging journey through every stage of the ceramic process, from the wheel to final decoration.

During the first session (3 hours), you’ll receive a practical, creative introduction to working with clay. You’ll learn the basics of the pottery wheel, centering, opening, and pulling a cylinder, and discover how to shape the material into a small form.

In the second part of the first session, you’ll move on to decorating a pre-fired piece, which will then be glazed and fired. You can pick it up after about 48 hours or request shipping. To make the experience even sweeter, enjoy a coffee break with a classic Sicilian pastry between sessions.

In the second session (1.5 hours), you’ll return to the studio to trim and decorate with colored slips (engobbi) the piece you created on the wheel, you will complete the process and personalize your creation.
