Introduction Course to wheel throwing and decoration with engobes

In these 4 lessons you will learn about the properties of clay. You will explore the key techniques ranging from wheel throwing to decoration with engobes (coloured liquid clay), glazing and the different types of firing. Finally, you will learn how to use the tools and materials and how to navigate within the MUD co-working space. The MUD POWER START course will provide you with a solid basic knowledge to kickstart your independent projects and is the minimum requirement to access the co-working space at Studio MUD.

All materials and firings are included and you can take home 2 decorated pieces.

Duration: 2 weeks (8 hours)

Days: Tuesday 20:00-22:0 and Saturday 13:30-15:30
