CUERDA SECA WORKSHOP: Discover the ancient art of Cuerda Seca, a decorative technique of Moorish origin that spread worldwide, admired for its sharp contrasts and vivid colors. This method allows you to create multicolored patterns separated by fine outlines made with a resist mixture that prevents glazes from blending during firing.

Program:

• Brief introduction to the history and origins of the cuerda seca technique.
• Design creation, first on paper and then on the plate.
• Preparation of the mixture for the outlines.
• Transfer of the design onto a bisque-fired plate.
• Application of glazes to color the design.
